Want to keep a secret diary or collection of notes on your computer that no one can read but you?  Here’s a simple, free program that can do just that.

It’s called PipeNote, created by a software developer in Romania who emailed in last week to let me know how his creation.

There’s nothing fancy about this program, but PipeNote does exactly what it promises.  You type whatever you like into this virtual notepad then assign it a password.  After that you can add or delete your notes as you wish, but you’ll need the password to access anything you’re written.

Possibly useful as a secret daily of sorts, you can download Pipenote for Windows at www.pipenote.net
