If you’re in the market for a new PC, here’s a quick guide to help you find the right one for your specific needs.

If you’re just going to be doing web browsing, email and word processing…perhaps watching a bit of YouTube and social networking then look for a computer with an Intel core i3 processor.

If multimedia tasks, like editing home videos or playing games if your aim or multitasking with lots of programs running at the same time, then a computer with an Intel core i5 processor would be more suitable. If you’re knowledgeable and adventurous enough to build your own PC, we would recommend the i5 3750K  at this stage. Not only is it great for a work station, it handles games amazingly, and with its over-clocking potential, you can push it even further if you ever need too.

At the top end of the scale are computers with an Intel core i7 processor.  These are ideal for playing high-end games ,creating high-definition video and are brilliant for multitasking.

Intel has recently launch the 4th generation of its core processor family, get more information and check out intel’s guide to buying the right computer for your needs HERE.
