Many classic arcade games of the past are finding new life on the current generation of video games systems and one of the latest is a speed boat racer from more than a decade ago.
Hydro Thunder Hurricane is the sequel to Hydro Thunder, which was originally available on the sega dreamcast, nintendo 64 and playstation 1 games consoles.
As you might expect the game has come along way graphically and the water physics are especially well done with swells and the wake from other boats affecting your 300 mile an hour+ vessel.
Along with action packed racing though busy waters, the game includes modes that will test you against the clock under explosive pressure and your accuracy with ring master events where you can’t miss a single turn.
Sit too close to the TV and you may even start feeling sea-sick. Hydro Thunder Hurricane is available now on XBox360 through the XBox Live Arcade Marketplace for 1200 Microsoft Points.
