The largest TV screen you’ll find on sale in most retail stores is perhaps 75 or 82inches. Make no mistake, that’s more than big enough for most rooms, but at last week’s consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, Samsung grabbed plenty of attention with their latest big screen offering.
It’s called “The Wall”. A 146inch Modular MicroLED TV that Samsung has labelled ‘the TV of the future’.
Just like OLED screens, MicroLED technology doesn’t require back-lighting or color filters…and it offers advancements in durability and power consumption.
It may be a while before smaller MicroLED TVs hit stores, but it’s screen technology to watch out for.
