Your Laptop device is suddenly running much slower then expected but you can’t work out why. That’s the issue facing Ben right now, so he emailed in to ask about how to fix it.
Ok, so while this issue can be tricky to diagnose without having the actual device to look at but before you take it in for a professional to inspect properly here’s what I suggest.
Firstly do a full scan with internet security software for any nasties…then check your hard drive space (make sure you have plenty available)…see if any programs are unnecessarily starting up when the computer boots…and if it’s just your internet connection that’s slow…well that’s actually a completely different set of problems.
If you’re not a confident at changing settings on your PC…take it to a professional for help.
