If you need a new laptop for the new school or work year there’s plenty to choose from so how do you choose?
I suggest that screen size is actually a great place to start.
If it’s for school or work, and you need to travel with it each day, then a 14 or 15inch screen offers a good balance between portability and usability.
Once you’ve decided what size screen you’re happy to look at then you can look at performance specs like the processor, ram and hard drive space.
If you’re just using your device for email, documents and cloud based work you won’t need the fastest processor or a large hard drive.
Other considerations then are warranty and service – be sure you understand how your device is covered if there is a problem and what the process is to get it fixed.
