TikTok has quickly earned a reputation for showcasing all sorts of questionable content, however the social media platform is making changes for the better.
Recent updates to their community guidelines further support the safety, security and integrity of the platform.
They’ve added clarity around the types of hateful ideologies prohibited and re-enforced the dangerous acts and challenges policy, rolling out new videos from creators like @demiskinner, @brodiepawson and @zaraliang warning against such behavior.
It’s worth noting that in the last quarter of 2021, around 91 million videos were removed under guidelines enforcement…but this only represents around 1 percent of all videos uploaded to TikTok.
