Australian’s love using emojis to communicate how we feel. In fact a recent study by Adobe found that Aussies are more likely to send emojis than people in other countries.
But with so many emojis to choose from now, you have to wonder if some of them mean what you think they do. Adobe found that the top 3 mis-understood Emojis right now are Cherries, The Cowboy Hat guy and the blue baseball cap.
Not surprisingly none of them appear to be used for what you may think…especially the Cherries….and even the hat surprised me.
Fortunately it seems that common-sense prevails, as Adobe reports that 81 percent of us agree that you should only use emoji if you fully understand them.
