What is an “AI PC”.
It’s a question recently answered by Intel, but now Microsoft has also jumped in with their own definition to set a new standard in the tech world.
At a recent Intel event in Taiwan, Microsoft revealed that to be considered an AI PC, a computer must contain a CPU (Central Processing Unit), GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) , and NPU (Neural Processing Unit), as well as support Microsoft’s Copilot and have a Copilot key.
It’s that last detail that’s caught the attention of many, as some AI PCs currently on the market lack the Copilot key, despite having the necessary hardware components.
