Move over, smartphones – new research from Samsung Electronics Australia reveals that televisions are taking centre stage in Australian homes.
The study shows that 60% of Australians rearrange furniture to avoid sunlight glare on their TV screen ,46% can’t go a day without watching TV, and Over half rely on their TVs to wind down after work.
Interestingly, 37% agree there’s a ‘prime seat’ in the lounge to avoid glare, sparking family arguments. Additionally, 46% suffer from ‘TV envy’ due to the size and quality of others’ TVs.
This research highlights how TVs are no longer just for watching movies – they’re now essential for relaxation, gaming, and even for listening to music.
