Drones can be great fun to fly but it’s a good idea to check that you’re following the law when you take to the sky.
Some of the latest drones from leading manufacturers have the ability to be flown in FPV (or First person View) mode meaning you fly the drone using either FPV goggles or from a video screen on your phone or a controller.
It’s a truly immersive experience and it’s mostly ok to do indoors, however if you want to fly FPV outdoors, you must either be a member of a model aircraft association that has approval to fly FPV or apply for approval from the Civil Aviation Safety authority.
