Samsung Unveils 2025 TV Line up with Emphasis on AI and Smart Home Integration
Samsung has announced its 2025 TV line up, highlighting advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and integration with its SmartThings ecosystem. The company emphasized its commitment to bringing “real world usage of AI” to its products and making the smart home experience more seamless.
This year Samsung celebrates 10years of SmartThings, with AI now at the core of its product development. Features like AI upscaling, which brings lower resolution content closer to 4K (and even 8K), and customizable AI settings for different viewing preferences were showcased this week in Sydney. Notably, their flagship QN990F model boasts a new AI processor with 50% more neural networks than last year’s model.
It’s clear that Samsung has TVs developed for every viewing scenario.
For sports enthusiasts, Samsung introduced glare-free technology, which reduces reflections and distractions. AI Motion Enhancer Pro analyses the type of sport being watched, while Object Tracking Sound uses eight speakers to track sound across the screen.
Gaming is also a focus, with 81% of Australians playing games and 88% of frequent gamers using TVs as their displays. The QN990F features a wireless one connect box capable of 4K resolution at 120Hz and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz for PC gamers. Samsung also highlighted its OLED range, doubling its models to 14 and expanding size options from 42 to 83 inches. The S95 model features an anti-glare screen and a refresh rate of 165Hz.
If you’ve yet to see glare free OLED TV I have to recommend going into any TV retailer and taking a look.
The Frame TV range has been upgraded to Frame Pro, now with Neo QLED technology and the wireless one connect box. Additionally, Samsung is expanding its Art Store to 90% of its TV range and introducing AI generative wallpaper (text to image).
Samsung is also focusing on larger screens, introducing an 85-inch option in every QLED TV and featuring a 98-inch QN90F.
Finally, Samsung has highlighted its commitment to long-term value, including security, Samsung TV Plus with over 103 free channels, Gaming Hub, and guaranteed seven years of free UI upgrades.
