A home Wi-Fi network allows you to have internet access across multiple devices anywhere in your home…or does it?
If you find that some areas of your home offer poor or no access to your home Wi-Fi network, then you may need to do some tweaking.
Firstly, check the positioning of your Wireless Router. If it’s down on the floor, try moving it up to a highter shelf, especially if you live in a two story home.
Also, if you have an older Wireless Router it may use an older version of the Wireless standard, resulting in slower speeds and reduced range. You devices and Wireless router should currently be capable of supporting the “N” standard…so a hardware update may be necessary.
