With the launch of the new XPS 13 laptop, Dell has launched its thinnest and lightest laptop ever to challenge the popular MacBook Neo.

Weighing in at just one kilogram and measuring under thirteen millimetres thick, the newly designed XPS machine targets students and young professionals.

Dell is betting on extra standard features to win over consumers, equipping the laptop with a two-point-five-K touchscreen, a backlit keyboard, and ultra-fast Wi-Fi 7—amenities noticeably absent from the base-model Neo.

However, while the device tracks Apple’s pricing closely in the USA, it has failed to do so here in Australia. With a four-hundred-dollar difference between the two machines they really can’t really be compared.
