At the recent wearable technology expo in New York an explosion of gadgets that could be worn or attached to the human body suggests massive growth in this sector over the next few years, but something seemed to be missing among the watches, bracelets, glasses and smart shirts on show…not a single pair on electronic pants could be found.
But don’t worry, some students at a UK university are working on it, proving that it’s at least possible to build a pair of battery powered trousers that would allow the wearer to walk up walls.
The vacuum trousers replicate and idea from a wallace and grommit movie from the early 90s and while proven possible that’s about as far as they’ll get to making them.
