If you’re looking to touch up photos or create an artistic masterpiece from scratch you can’t go past Adobe Photoshop. It’s the tool of choice for many industry professionals and amateurs alike but it does come at a price that not everyone can afford.
The good news is that there’s a handful of good free alternatives to Photoshop and at the top of the list is GIMP.
This image manipulation can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program or just to convert image formats…but the main point is that it’s completely free to download.
