It your private information sitting on the dark web?
According to a new report from Trend Micro, three out of four Australians had their data exposed on the Dark Web, with email being the most common data type stolen.
The report also shows that cyber threats where on the increase in 2022 with Trend Micro blocked more than 140 billion threats worldwide…up 55 percent over the previous year.
It’s worth noting that anything online can be hacked, even smart TVs. They can let hackers access your home network.
The trend micro report also reminds people to follow the basic rules of cybersecurity, as many people still click on harmful links.
In Australia, Trend Micro blocked over 55 million clicks on bad links in 2022.
