Mobile Etiquette – Intel Survey
How are your mobile manners? As ownership and use of internet-enabled mobile devices increases so does the probability that someone will annoy you though lack of basic mobile etiquette.
Intel’s 2012 ‘Mobile Etiquette’ survey looked at the state of mobile manners across the globe and while offenses like Texting while driving,
and Talking on a device loudly in public are among the top offenses, over-sharing is also listed as a pet peeve.
The survey reveals that 56 per cent of adults in Australia report that one of their top online sharing pet peeves is people who post about every detail of their life.
Think twice before you over-share online….it only takes few seconds to post, but once in the digital domain, can last a lifetime.
