If you’re looking at buying a new tablet device one of the main factors will be performance but don’t get caught out thinking that the one with the most cores in its processor is necessarily the fastest.
Intel suggests that it’s like comparing an aircraft with 4 propeller engines with one the same size that uses just 2 jet driven engines..
At one time adding more cores to a processor was a good solution for performance but now as chip technology has advanced in this area, specifically around multitasking, fewer cores may be more efficient at doing the same job.
