While Sony and Microsoft prepare to go head to head with new lounge room games consoles in November, next month Nintendo will launch its latest portable games console.
The Nintendo 2DS is a re-imagining of the existing 3DS console…a budget offering that can play Nintendo DS and 3DS games but without the 3D screen.
The shape of the 2DS is also quite different from the 3DS as while it still features 2 screens, the form factor is more like a tablet instead of the folding clamshell like 3DS system.
The 2DS is priced at around 50 dollars less than it’s 3D big brother at just under $150 and you’ll find it in stores from October 12. Get more information HERE.
