The next generation of Nintendo’s home video games console, the Wii, is set to land in Australia on November 30 in Australia and New Zealand.
What is the Wii U?
It’s Nintendo’s High Definition games console that, along with improved visual quality, offers a new way to play with the addition of the Wii U GamePad Controller.
The new GamePad Controller features an integrated touch screen that in many games offers an view that is independent of what’s seen on the TV.
The Price?
Well the Wii U will be presented as two different offerings.
The Wii U Basic Pack with a suggested retail price (in Australia) of $349.95. It features a Wii U console with 8GB internal storage and a Wii U GamePad, both in white.
The Wii U Premium Pack with a suggested retail price (in Australia) of $429.95. It contains a black Wii U console and Wii U GamePad, and with 32GB of internal storage provides more space for downloadable digital content. The Premium Pack also contains a stand for the GamePad and console, a charging cradle for the GamePad, a sensor bar and the Nintendo Land software.
Both packs contain an HDMI cable and AC adapters for console and GamePad.
