Sony is taking 3D entertainment to a new level by releasing just annouced a wearable Personal 3D Viewer.
Basically once you slip this set of ‘goggles’ on your head you’ll be facing two tiny OLED HD panels which create the equivalent of sitting in front of a 750inch screen.
To add to the cinema experience, this personal 3D viewer also has built-in virtual 5.1 channel surround sound.
While it may take some getting used to, the head unit weighs just 420 grams and connects to a processing device which needs to then be connected to a 3D media player such as a Playsation 3 to view movies or games in the 3D format.
