Earlier today, Google introduced the Pixel 9A, the newest member of its budget-friendly A-series smartphones.  Packed with AI smarts and a sleek new design, the 9A promises a premium experience without the premium price tag.

It boasts a vibrant 6.3-inch display, an upgrade over last year’s model and is packed with an impressive camera system featuring a 48-megapixel main camera and AI-powered features like Magic Eraser and Photo Unblur.

The Pixel 9A also has access to Google’s latest AI innovations, including Gemini Live, allowing users to interact with their surroundings using the camera and share their screen with the AI assistant for real-time support.

The colour options for the Pixel 9a are Obsidian, Porcelain, Iris and Peony.

The Pixel 9a won’t be on presale from today (as I mentioned on the radio) but will be available at the Google Store and through retail partners in April for $849.
