Chances are you own a PC, Mac or even a mobile device with an ‘Intel inside’…but the chip maker isn’t content to just power the brains of your computing devices.
Looking to inspire interest in the company last week Intel showed off two very different products…a 60cm tall robot and the latest in wearable technology, a smart T-Shirt.
The Robot’s name is Jimmy and will be sold as a 3-D printable kit by the of of this year…he won’t do your vacuuming but he can walk, talk and tweet.
Intel’s battery powered smart shirt will be loaed up with sensors to measure the heart rate and other vital signs of the wearer and will be aimed at cyclists and joggers.
