For the past few months Apple has successfully prevented Samsung from launching their 10inch tablet device, however the legal blockages have now been lifted and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is available…just in time for Christmas.
Weighing in at just 565 grams, the Galaxy Tab runs a custom version of the Android 3.1 operating system.
The tablet features a front and rear camera for still photos and HD video and depending on how you want to connect, there’s a Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi with 3G model.
Priced from $579 dollars, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is comparable in price to the iPad2, but around 250 dollars more than the Motorola Xoom tablet.
