The self-balancing two wheeled Segway electric vehicle made its debut around 14 years ago…they cost thousands of dollars…and up until a few years ago there weren’t that many places in Australia that you could use one in public.
Well get ready because a new wave of self-balancing scooters is about to hit the market. The look more like hoverboards with the rider standing on a platform with a wheel on each side, run on batteries ,have speeds reported to be up to 20km an hour and cost a few hundred dollars.
