The Singapore tourism board has today launched a new Facebook App that offers celebrity insider tips on visiting the country.
It’s called Singapore Celebrity Concierge and they’ve enlisted the help of 4 personalities with a wealth of knowledge to help those planning a trip to Singapore plan a trip only local knowledge could provide.
Today I spoke with Sharon Lam, Area Director Oceania for Singapore Tourism Board about Singapore Celebrity Concierge, who’s involved and how it works. Listen below.
The panel of Singapore celebrity fans includes:
• Chef Tetsuya Wakuda, who chose to open his second restaurant Waku Ghin in
Singapore, describing the city as his “home away from home”
• Author and mum to six children Antonia Kidman, who moved to the Lion City in 2010
with her family
• TV presenter and lifelong explorer Tom Williams, who will be co-presenting a one hour
Channel 7 special on Tuesday April 15th at 7.30pm along with his mate, chef Ben
O’Donoghue titled ‘Tom & Ben’s Singapore Sling’
• MasterChef 2012 finalist Audra Morrice, who was born in Singapore to a Chinese
mother and Indian father, which has heavily influenced her cooking style.
Visit at SingaporeCelebrityConcierge.com.au before Friday 25th April.
