One of the most popular applications for making free voice and video calls is Skype, and the latest update to the program makes chatting with friends even easier.
For starters, Skype verion 5.8 for Windows is now capable of full high-definition video calls with the right camera and broadband internet connection, plus you can now even make video calls to your Facebook friends – even if they don’t have Skype.
Simply click on the Facebook icon in the program and select the person you want to call in your list and click ‘video call’.
Remember computer to computer voice and video calls between Skype members doesn’t incur any costs so it’s ideal for calling long distance.
