It seems that every gadget in our homes has the potential to be smart. From TV’s to fridges and air conditioners more of our appliances are going online including the humble light globe.
A handful of companies including Philips and GE are now producing light globes that can be controlled via an app on your smartphone or tablet allowing you to not just turn it on or off but even adjust brightness.
If anything this connected light glove technology will save you a trip getting out of bed late at night to check if you left a light on in a room at the other end of the house.
