How does retirement look for you? Ideally it would be in your own home, living independently…but that’s not the case for many.
Fortunately technology is coming to the rescue with a new sensor based care system being trialed by CSIRO to assist people with disabilities and the elderly to maintain their independence.
This technology can track everyday movements like for example if the wearer got out of bed at their normal time, how much they’ve moved around, if they’ve fallen over and even if the oven has been left on…which can be delivered to a carer in real time.
