Just a few years ago the experience of buying a new TV may have simply been going out and buying the biggest one you could find that matched your budget, but now it’s all about resolution.
With the shift from analogue TV transmissions and DVDs to High Definition Broadcasts and HD formats such as Blu-Ray discs over the past few years, TV screen resolutions have now increased beyond what we know as High Definition.
If you have upwards of 6 thousand dollars to spend, Ultra High Definition or 4K TVs now offer 4 times the detail of full HD, which among other things means you can have a bigger TV without noticing the dots on the screen.
