Australian workers are hesitant about AI, with data security topping their concerns.
A study by Lucid Software reveals that over 80% respondents cited security risks as their main reason for caution, while 33% expressed distrust in AI’s accuracy, and 45% feared being replaced by it.

Interestingly, while many are wary, over half acknowledged AI’s potential to boost productivity, with 66% believing it could improve job satisfaction, and 54% think it might improve work-life balance…yes a third of workers don’t foresee significant AI adoption in the next five years, reflecting mixed views on its importance.
