If you downloaded the test version of Windows 7 early last year, known as the Windows 7 Release candidate, and you’re still using it, it’s now time to take some action.
The software will expire on the 1st of June this year, however from this month users will notice some changes.
From March 1 computers running the Windows 7 release candidate started shutting down every two hours as a reminder that the operating system needs to be updated, or the old version of windows reinstalled.
Either way, you’ll need to back up any important data on your PC, and start from scratch with a fresh operating system installation.
