Dumping your Foxtel Set-top box in favour of a streaming service is a potential cost-saver.
Foxtel recently launched a new streaming version of their Pay TV service called Foxtel Now to better compete with other streaming TV services, however if you already get Foxtel via a set-top box here’s something to think about.
If you’re not under contract and have a fast enough internet connection with plenty of data you could ditch your Foxtel box and get a similar service at a lower cost with Foxtel now.
I did exactly that and find I have more than halved the cost and now actually use Foxtel more as I can now view it via my a number of devices around the house.
