With Facebook user numbers on the decline for the first time, is Google looking to be the next big thing in Social Networking?

\nLate last month Google launched a trial of \u201cGoogle Plus\u201d, a social networking experience that looks to correct the wrongs of similar services.<\/p>\n

Google Plus allows users to differentiate between \u2018friends\u2019 by using circle groups, the idea being that the types of things that you might share with friends or family, you may not want to share with a wider group of people.<\/p>\n

Google Plus also features \u2018hangouts\u2019 where up to 10 people can simultaneously take part in a video chat session which happens inside your web browser.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s still early days for Google Plus, but it\u2019s off to a good start.
