Now that we\u2019ve finally recovered from the Christmas gift giving season…another occasion is looming where you have another good excuse to buy something for the one you love….Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start small and work our way up because it\u2019s not about how much you spend, but the thought that goes into it.<\/p>\n

The first one is a no-brainer.\u00a0 Jump on your computer and look up an online florist such as www.rosesonly.com.au<\/a> or www.flowers.com.au<\/a> and have a colourful bunch of something delivered.<\/p>\n

In terms of gadgets as gifts, here are my top tips.<\/p>\n

Digital Photo Frame<\/strong> – A great way to always have your favourite photos on display, plus if you pre-load it with some pictures of you and your other half then you\u2019ll score bonus points for personalising it.\u00a0 Prices start from just under 100 dollars.<\/a><\/p>\n

Phone Case<\/strong> – Ok so it\u2019s kind of practical, but if it means adding some personality to your loved one\u2019s phone and protecting it from accidental drops then they will appreciate it.\u00a0 Also don\u2019t forget to grab some of those clear screen protectors<\/a> (the matte finish ones are great for cutting down sun glare).<\/p>\n

Give the gift of digital music<\/strong> – For the partner who is yet to discover the latest in portable music I\u2019d suggest an iPod Nano<\/a>.\u00a0 Starting at $150 dollars this tiny music players also displays photos and has an FM Radio and Fitness application.<\/p>\n

A new Computer?<\/strong> – Ok, this might be a stretch for Valentines day, but in portable computers at the moment there\u2019s nothing sexier than an Ultrabook<\/a>.\u00a0 They are thin, light and powerful with great battery life and amazingly fast boot up times.<\/p>\n
