Today\u2019s televisions offer so much more than access to digital free to air live TV. \u00a0In fact the amount of content now available for Smart TVs just keeps growing.<\/p>\n

Samsung recently announced 5 new content Apps for its Smart TVs, adding to the\u00a0Samsung HDTV app store with over 1400 apps available.<\/p>\n

Here’s a rundown of the new Smart TV Apps<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

BigPond Movies, TV and Sport<\/strong><\/p>\n

The app makes it easy for users to access BigPond content so customers can download movies from the BigPond Movies service and also watch any of the BigPond TV internet channels including:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 BigPond Sport<\/p>\n

\u00b7 BigPond Music
\n\u00b7 BigPond News
\n\u00b7 V8 Supercars
\n\u00b7 BigPond Horse Racing
\n\u00b7 AFL channel
\n\u00b7 NRL channel<\/p>\n

(some charges apples for movie services)<\/p>\n

\u00a0Samsung Music Hub<\/strong><\/p>\n

Samsung Music HubTM is a subscription based music service offering access to millions of tracks from four major record labels as well as thousands of music videos. The service is available across multiple compatible Samsung platforms, such as select GALAXY Smartphones, GALAXY tablets, Samsung PCs, Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Blu-ray devices. Music videos can be streamed in high quality HD (720p) with an average of 40 new videos added per week.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Quickflix<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quickflix is Australia\u2019s leading online movie rental company. Streaming is available as a subscription package for $14.99 per month and select new release movies are also available as \u2018Pay Per View\u2019 from $5.99 per title.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Wiggle Time TV<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wiggle Time TV will showcase hours of entertainment with programming including all of The Wiggles\u2019 properties: The Wiggles, Dorothy The Dinosaur, Baby Antonio\u2019s Circus and Kingdom of Paramithi plus additional content such as The Adventures of Gracie Lou and Five Minutes More. Wiggle Time TV is launching soon and has a monthly subscription cost of $4.95. It will be available on select 2011 and 2012 Samsung Smart TV devices and the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1.<\/p>\n

PLUS7<\/strong><\/p>\n

PLUS7 provides on-demand access to \u00a0Channel Seven shows like My Kitchen Rules, Border Security, 30 Rock and Better Homes and Garden. The service offers video streaming of full length catch-up episodes from Seven, 7mate and other content partners in high quality, full screen. Samsung is expecting to launch PLUS7 in the coming months.<\/p>\n
