Back in the 70\u2019s Pong along with Atari kicked off the home video games console market, but things haven\u2019t been going so great for the iconic games company as \u00a0Atari in the U.S recently filed for bankruptcy.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s talk that it\u2019s simply a move to break away from the unprofitable French parent company to find new buyers and investors for the hundreds of games under the Atari umbrella.<\/p>\n

So what about all those classic games like Pong, Lunar Lander & Cenitpede that stand as icons of the first generation of video games you might have played at home in the 70\u2019s and 80s?<\/p>\n

Well they still exist in many forms…even on the Atari.com<\/a> website where they can be played free.<\/p>\n
