Well, it has been done and it\u2019a about to happen again with the 5th season of GT Academy. \u00a0A competition that finds the best of the best virtual racers from around the world and then puts them to the test in real race cars on a real race track.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s competition will launch alongside a demo of the Gran Turismo 6 video game on Playstation 3 in July and while it may seem like an unlikely transition to go from video gamer to race car driver, previous competition winners have actually gone on to make a career from it.<\/p>\n
