\"iOS7<\/p>\n

Apple will launch the latest operating system update for its mobile devices this week – iOS 7. \u00a0 \u00a0It will be available to all with compatible device<\/a>s starting on Wednesday this week however I’ve managed to get a quick look inside to see how it all runs and test drive a few of the new features.<\/p>\n

The main change you’ll notice right away is the interface. \u00a0While the layout remains familiar so you won’t get lost, it all looks just a bit more vibrant and easy to read. \u00a0 Apart from this Apple says that there are actually over 200 new features, but perhaps some are more subtle than others, such as improvements made to multitasking and the Safari web browser.<\/p>\n

Photos:<\/span> \u00a0This is definitely one of the more significant changes that you’ll notice in iOS7. \u00a0The new camera app now lets you add in real time effects to your photos, and you can quickly swipe between video, normal photo, square image and panoramic photo settings. \u00a0You can also now share the photo stream on your device with friends automatically and view other friends’ shared photo streams.<\/p>\n

Notification Center:<\/span> \u00a0Another nice update here so you can now access all notifications \u00a0quickly from the lock screen by swiping down from the top of the screen – This now includes a ‘today’ tab so you can see a summary of what’s happening for the day in one place.<\/p>\n

Sharing:<\/span> \u00a0iOS 7 introduces the AirDrop feature. \u00a0Using a combination of bluetooth and Wi-Fi you can now quickly share photos and videos between other users close by without having to use email or messaging.<\/p>\n
