\"what<\/a>Usage of online social media services like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are big in Australia however new research shows that they don\u2019t rule our time online.<\/p>\n

A survey by internet service provider Belong <\/a>sound that people actually spend just as much time online paying bills or researching products as they do on sites like Facebook.<\/p>\n

The research also revealed that two thirds of us hit the web daily to find answers to key questions and life issues with 60% looking \u00a0for places to take a date, 80 percent going online for cooking advice and one-third hitting the web to check health symptoms. \u00a0Also while 90 percent of those surveyed said they\u2019d be lost without the internet, almost half were put off entering a broadband plan because of lock in contracts.<\/p>\n
