The Kevo smart lock from Kwikset <\/a>works with an app on your smartphone \u00a0unlock a door as your approach by using secure bluetooth technology, but that e-key can also be shared with others.<\/p>\n

Need to let a tradie, cleaner or family member into the house while you\u2019re not there? \u00a0You can simply email an eKey to them for temporary access and if your smartphone battery happens to give out you can always use a normal key.<\/p>\n

The Kevo smartlock is coming in October and will be available at Masters, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, Betta Electrical and other electronics retailers from RRP$329.<\/p>\n
