\"image001\"<\/a>As rumours suggest<\/a> that Apple is set to make a 12 inch version of its iPad, other hardware manufacturers are moving in on the market dominated by the current iPad Air 2.<\/a><\/p>\n

Sony\u2019s Xperia Z4<\/a> android tablet is set to be a real contender with Sony announcing that the device will be the slimmest and lightest 10 inch tablet on the market.<\/p>\n

While it is in fact neck and neck with the iPad Air 2<\/a> at 6.1mm, the Xperia Z4<\/a> will weigh in at just over 40 grams lighter than apple\u2019s device.<\/p>\n

The Z4 also carries IP68 waterproof and dust-tight ratings which the iPad Air lacks.<\/p>\n
