Why is this important? \u00a0Well some recent research from Trend Micro Australia has revealed some alarming findings.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 61 per cent of Australian consumers let their browser save their password<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 41 per cent do not use a password to protect their devices<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On average, Australians have five passwords for 26 accounts, leaving themselves vulnerable to a password breach<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 While 70 per cent of social media users indicate they are concerned about sharing personal data via social media, 1 in 3 Australians still allow mobile apps to access their social media profiles, and in turn, their personal information<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
