Tripadvisor\u2019s Tripbarometer connected traveller report<\/a> reveals that the amount of people using mobile apps to book their accommodation over the past year has doubled from 4 to 8 percent.<\/p>\n

These connected travellers are also more likely to want to have their smartphone with them when they travel with 67 percent using it to find activities at their destination.<\/p>\n

Who exactly are these ‘connected travellers’ and does this mean the end for traditional travel agents?<\/p>\n
