Earlier last week a major security flaw was revealed that could give a malicious user full control of your device simply by sending you a picture message.<\/p>\n

This security hole found in the heart of the Android stage-fright media library was quickly fixed by Google, however as operating system updates are pushed out by handset makers, you may not yet have the latest version.
\nTo protect yourself you can block messages from unknown senders plus switch of previews for all incoming messages on your device.
