\"email\"Ever pushed send on an email only to regret it as soon as it\u2019s gone? \u00a0\u00a0Generally speaking you can\u2019t stop an email once it\u2019s left the outbox, however in some cases you can give yourself a bit of a buffer period just in case you change you mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

One example is Gmail\u2019s \u201cundo send\u201d<\/a> feature. \u00a0\u00a0Click into gmail settings and under the \u2018general tab\u2019 you can enable the undo send feature, setting a cancellation period of up to 30 seconds. \u00a0\u00a0Once this is set up, each time you send an email you\u2019ll see that you have the option to \u2018undo\u2019 the send for the amount of time you\u2019ve set.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are other similar options for other email programs such as Criptext<\/a> and Unsendit <\/a>– which promises ‘regret free email’.<\/span>\u00a0
