\"Internet-Speed\"<\/a>Australia is falling behind the rest of the world when it comes to broadband internet speeds ranking at 48th place globally.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>So you may be wondering who has the fastest? \u00a0Well in the global broadband connection speed rankings for the end of 2015 published by Akamai technologies<\/a>, South Korea came in at number 1 with an average speed of 26.7 Megabits per second followed by Japan at 17.4 and Hong Kong at 16.8. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In comparison Australia\u2019s average speed was just 8.2.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The good news is that speeds here have actually increased by 11 per cent year on year and for the moment are sufficient for the average user.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh and unlike in South Korea, the Internet we get here is not heavily restricted by Government. \u00a0 Here’s to a future that hopefully includes faster Internet speeds.<\/span><\/p>\n
