When you buy a new computer, you may find that quite a few programs have been pre-installed on it as a bonus…however the reality of this is more like the software version of junk mail, stuffed into your letterbox by a company hoping that you’ll buy something from the catalogue. <\/p>\n

These extra programs range from trial anti-virus software to maintenance programs, games and browser tool bars and are often referred to as ‘bloatware’ as they can effect performance and often pop up with messages asking users to buy full versions of the offending software. <\/p>\n

Any program that you don’t want you can simply uninstall through the windows control panel or could use a free program like PC Decrapifier <\/a>to clean up and remove all known bloatware from your PC in one swoop. <\/p>\n

It turns out the PC Decrapifier isn’t totally free, only removing a certain amount of Bloatware before asking payment to finish the job.
