I suggest that screen size is actually a great place to start.
\nIf it\u2019s for school or work, and you need to travel with it each day, then a 14 or 15inch screen offers a good balance between portability and usability.
\n<\/span>Once you\u2019ve decided what size screen you\u2019re happy to look at then you can look at performance specs like the processor, ram and hard drive space.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re just using your device for email, documents and cloud based work you won\u2019t need the fastest processor or a large hard drive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other considerations then are warranty and service – be sure you understand how your device is covered if there is a problem and what the process is to get it fixed.<\/p>\n
